WATERMELON & MINT FREEZE

It’s hot. So much so sweat pops out of pores in the most inappropriate places at the oh, so wrong time. You know what I’m talking about, I don’t need to explain or be graphic. This weekend it is supposed to be in the 100’s here in Northern California and Debbie just doesn’t do well in heat. I don’t exactly melt like the Wicked Witch of the West (look it up, it was the Wicked Witch of the East Dorothy’s house dropped on. Dorothy melted the West Witch.) Anyway, I was saying I don’t melt like the West Witch, but I could rival it in the heat.

But having this oh so refreshing Watermelon & Mint Freeze slide down my throat giving me a wicked (like that play on words?) brain freeze keeps my sweat pores in check. No popping sweat modules exploding from my pores!

I could make a couple batches of these and be perfectly content. I could choose to spend the weekend out by the pool, lounging and sipping on these lovely little concoctions – but that just isn’t realistic for me. Remember, I have teenagers, a puppy and a cat that the puppy loves to chase around the yard and house.

But if you do choose to lounge in or at poolside all weekend, put one of those frilly paper drink umbrellas in your Freeze and imagine being on a white sand beach somewhere soaking in the sun….but not without protection.
