So I am going to be honest and tell you that my computer is experiencing technical difficulties. It’s amazing to me how dependant one gets on a piece of technology encased in plastic and metal.
You may be wondering how it is I am able to post this recipe, right? Well isn’t it important knowing it’s been a couple of days since my last post and I just can’t leave you hanging?! 😀 Yes.
Insert this recipe I’ve been doing for a couple of years now. I was first exposed to it via a co-worker and I have to say, it is very refreshing. ESPECIALLY in the Summer when we are approaching 104 heat today in NorCal!
The ingredients are simple:
1 md Cucumber sliced thin.
1 lemon, sliced thin.
10 – 12 fresh mint leaves.
1 tsp grated ginger, and
2L (or 1 gallon) water.
Stick in fridge and steep overnight.
Sassy Water comes from the “Flat Belly Diet” and it’s designed to be used in a 4-day jump-start with you consuming the whole pitcher of Sassy Water in one day.
I don’t really care too much for any 4-day jump-start or depriving a body of proper nutrition for 4-days. I’m just not going to do that. What works for me is a balanced, nutritional diet, A LOT of water and exercising at least 4 – 5 days out of the week. I like the taste of this Sassy Water and I drink this on top of my regular water intake.
So make a batch of this refreshing Sassy Water and stay cool…..
